Another Week Of Web Hosting Acquisitions

The web hosting companies continue to merge in April and May. Ipower.com and Enduranceinternational.com haveĀ entered the top 3 in the United StatesĀ in the business after complete their merger. Both companies now host more than 600,000 web sites. At the same time MySpace took control over the image hosting company Photobucket and will offer services to its members.

The upcoming months June and July are conference season in web hosting and I believe that they will put on the table some important issues about the industry’s development. There are many questions to be answered including this one – “Does it worth to invest in web hosting since the biggest online companies are keen to offer hosting as a free add-ons to different commercial service packages?”.
