HostingCon To Issue Keynotes On “Future Of Web Hosting”

One of the most popular events in the web hosting industry HostingCon 2006 promises to reveal the future of web hosting business. The conferences’ web site states that as companies and individuals continue to expand the use of hosting services and hosted applications, web hosts have new opportunities to provide services to their customers.

HostingCon 2006 will feature 3 keynotes focused on hosting industry’s trends, business strategies and the way hosting industry fits into mainstream IT.

The opening keynote will be held on Monday, July 17, 2006 at 2:00pm. It will be delivered by Thornton May, Executive Director and Dean at the IT Leadership Academy.

The second keynote on web hosting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 18, 2006 at 10:00am. It will be moderated by 4 executives of web hosting companies. The panel is named “Lessons from the Trenches – What Works NOW,” and will be hosted by David Snead. Panelists for this keynote are Ian Andrusyk of FastServers.Net, Lou Honick of HostMySite.com, EV1Servers CEO Robert Marsh and Jeffrey Stibel of Interland. Alla of them shall share real world examples of how they beat expectations in the hosting market for 2005.

The final keynote is titled “What the Other Analysts Won’t Tell You About the Hosting Industry,” and will be delivered by industry analyst Andrew Schroepfer, President of Tier1 Research.

All panels are open to all participants of HostingCon 2006.
