A “new generation” spam came to my inbox. I don’t know whether some spammers hire consultants or any kind or PR agencies but they are now smarter than they were. Spammers now use various techniques and change the spam topics very often.

Take a look at the last spam messages I received:

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $109.30. Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 6-9 days in order to process it.

A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons. For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

The “click here” phrase is a link in the spam message. You may not follow it because it leads to  URL “cgvbuilders.ca/…www.irs.gov./index.html”.
